saveall.ksh and mk_dsk.ksh Instruction Manual Rev. 0 Date: 9/3/2002 Author: Andre Marchal, OCI Wyoming amarchal@ocichemical.com The following scripts are for AW70 only. saveall.ksh uploads, checkpoints and makes a saveall on a disk without opening the ICC. mk_dsk.ksh copies the saveall files to a saveall floppy without opening the ICC. Benefits: uploading control processors is tedious and slow. saveall.ksh automatically performs this task for all the processors you list in a cmd window, while you pursue your other interests in life. mk_dsk.ksh must then be run to create a valid saveall diskette. Instructions: 1. Create a d:\usr\AW7001 directory 2. Create a d:\usr\AW7001\save directory 3. Copy saveall.ksh and mk_dsk.ksh to d:\usr\AW7001 4. Edit with WordPad the line for STA in CP0001 CP0002 CP0003 ; do by replacing CPxxxx with the letterbugs of your control processors or integrator 30s (you can use as many letterbugs as you like) hosted by the AW. 5. In the NutCracker environment, go to /usr/AW70001 6. saveall.ksh and mk_dsk.ksh have no arguments. Notes: 1. Do not open the ICC or turn the AW off while saveall.ksh is running! You could seriously damage your files. 2. Thanks to Stan Abbott and Patricia Calabria from Foxboro for their help. 3. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Send to amarchal@ocichemical.com. 4. A compound whose name is identical to the CP letterbug will not be included in the saveall diskette. But if the compound name has additional characters besides the CP letterbug, it will not be skipped.
