  1. DO NOT connect your I/A 2nd ethernet network directly to your desktop network. If you need to connect the AP/AW to your business network, do so through a router or a firewall.
  2. Edit the /etc/hosts.equiv file on Solaris hosts and remove the plus sign (+) that is on a line by itself.
  3. Review the file /etc/inet/inetd.conf on Solaris hosts for any unnecessary ports/services which may be open/running.
